***

The violent flow of violet snow
Fell from our bridge three streets below
In sun it gleamed, with wind it blew
And disappeared before we knew.

The crystal shadow, bluish white
It danced it's dance both day and night
Then smashed our windows, blurred our sight
And kissed the earth with all its' might.

The town it yawned, it sighed and dozed
A dove-grey day was hence proposed
The houses shivered side by side
Brick by brick and window wide.

The flakes they whispered secrets clear
Into the frosty twilight's ear
While I went to the woods with fear
Mind of iron, heart of a deer.
